[Immediate Start] Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to architect, implement, and maintain mission-critical Azure cloud infrastructure for strategic initiatives of our clients. This role requires deep Azure expertise, security-first mindset, and proven experience with both traditional multi-tier architectures, containers based deployments and modern event-driven, serverless systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation :
• Design and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Azure.
• Implement Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.
• Develop highly secure network architectures using VNets, NSGs, Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, and Private Endpoints
• Monitoring and Optimisation :
• Monitor cloud performance, ensuring optimal system operation.
• Optimise cloud resources to improve performance and reduce costs.
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery
• Design fault-tolerant architectures with appropriate redundancy across availability zones
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for all critical systems
• Establish RTO / RPO requirements and implement appropriate solutions
• Automation and DevOps :
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Automate deployments and workflows using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, or other scripting tools.
• Security and Compliance :
• Implement robust cloud security measures as appropriate to the solution risk profile, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel and Key Vault.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modelling, and vulnerability management
• Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration and Troubleshooting :
• Work closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Stay updated with the latest Azure services and industry best practices.
• Provide recommendations to enhance existing cloud solutions.
