Location : Bellandur, Bangalore (Hybrid 3 days Work from Office at Walmarts Office)

Experience Level : 6 months 2 years

About the Role :

  • We are looking for a passionate and motivated iOS Developer to join our growing team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in iOS application development using Xcode, Swift, and Objective-C, along with a strong eagerness to learn and grow. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain e-commerce applications, ensuring seamless integration with back-end services.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for junior iOS developers to gain exposure to real-world application development at scale, work on cutting-edge features, and contribute to delivering high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Application Development : Assist in designing and developing high-performance iOS applications for iPhone and iPad platforms.
  • UI / UX Implementation : Work with basic UI components, build simple custom user interfaces, and ensure smooth user interactions.
  • Integration : Consume REST APIs / web services (JSON / XML) and integrate with third-party SDKs such as social media or payment platforms.
  • Database Handling : Work with SQLite and local storage for offline capabilities.
  • Quality & Performance : Ensure applications are robust, responsive, and optimized for performance.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Debugging & Maintenance : Identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to improve app stability.
  • Code Quality : Contribute to code reviews, maintain clean and modular code, and follow best practices in documentation.

    • Must-Have Skills :

  • Strong hands-on experience with Xcode and iOS application development.
  • Proficiency in Swift (Swift 3 or above) and familiarity with Objective-C.
  • Good understanding of iOS UI components and ability to create custom UIs.
  • Knowledge of JSON / XML parsing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with SQLite database for local data storage.
  • Exposure to third-party SDK integration (e.g., social media, analytics, or payment gateways).

    • Good-to-Have Skills :

  • Basic understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git / GitHub.
  • Awareness of App Store submission process and deployment best practices.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce application workflows is a plus.
