Spherule Foundation, an NGO working across all Sustainable Development Goals , is launching a new initiative in Raigad, Maharashtra

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Operations Manager to lead and manage this project.

Education / Qualification and requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Counseling Psychology, Social work, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Freshers are encouraged to apply.
  • Graduate-level background with fieldwork / NGO experience preferred.
  • 0-2 years of prior experience in community-based work, social work, or health outreach is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in large groups
  • Adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards.
  • Employment on a one year renewable contractual basis.
  • Meet background check requirements as part of our Safeguarding Policy
  • Ability to engage in hectic travel and still deliver relevant outputs
  • Own vehicle is required (bike or any two wheeler)

Language :

  • Fluency in local languages (Marathi and Hindi) and dialects relevant to the program's operational area is essential for effective communication with the community.
  • Skills :

  • Communication : Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills to build rapport and trust with community members.
  • Cultural Competence : Understanding and respect for local customs, beliefs, and social structures.
  • Advocacy : Ability to advocate for the health and wellbeing needs of the community.
  • Facilitation : Skills to conduct group sessions and educational activities.
  • Data Collection : Basic ability to collect, record, and report data accurately to excel / google sheets.
  • Problem-Solving : Capacity to identify and address field-level challenges.
  • Roles and Responsibilities of the on-ground team

  • Submit permission letter to principals
  • Confirm number of girls in VIII, IX and XI
  • Scheduling visits
  • Teacher briefing during first visit
  • Shadow CPs and get trained in facilitation
  • Check workbook usage
  • Conduct mood check in activity in bi-monthly visits
  • Capture media (photos, videos) after verbal consent and upload to the shared drive folder.
