Job Title : Python Airflow Analyst

Position : SSE

Education Qualification : Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills Required

1. Python Programming

Strong understanding of Python syntax and features (especially across versions e.g. Python 3.6 3.10).

Experience with Python package management (pip venv conda etc.).

Ability to refactor or update legacy Python code to be compatible with newer versions.

2. Apache Airflow

Hands-on experience with Airflow DAGs Operators Sensors and Hooks.

Familiarity with Airflow configuration plugins and deployment.

Understanding of Airflow version changes (e.g. from 1.x to 2.x or 2.x to 2.7) and their impact on DAGs and architecture.

3. OCP (OpenShift Container Platform)

Experience deploying and managing applications on OpenShift.

Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines in OpenShift for deploying Airflow and Python apps.

4. Version Upgrade & Migration

Experience upgrading Python environments and resolving compatibility issues.

Experience upgrading Airflow (including database migrations breaking changes and plugin compatibility).

Knowledge of testing strategies to validate upgrades (unit tests integration tests DAG validation).
