Job Title : Property Accountant (ResMan - Property Management)

Location : Ahmedabad, India

Shift Timing : 2 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM IST (Mon - Fri)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Property Accountant with 1 - 4 years of experience and hands-on expertise in ResMan . The role involves managing day-to-day accounting for U.S.-based property portfolios while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. This position is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing accounting tasks across multiple properties in a dynamic offshore environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting operations in ResMan , including data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Record and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions for multiple properties.

Process tenant payments, deposits, and refunds while adhering to accounting policies.

Assist with monthly and annual closing activities , including journal entries and supporting schedules.

Prepare and maintain property-level financial statements such as income statements and balance sheets.

Collaborate with the onshore accounting and property management teams for budget tracking, vendor payments, and issue resolution.

Validate and maintain accurate documentation for audits, compliance, and internal reporting.

Communicate effectively with U.S. clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth accounting operations and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-4 years of accounting experience , preferably in Resman property management or real estate accounting .

Proficiency in ResMan is mandatory .

Solid understanding of property management concepts such as leases, rent rolls, and financial statements.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with general accounting software.

Excellent attention to detail , analytical mindset , and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with U.S. clients and offshore teams.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to U.S. property management accounting practices.

Working knowledge of GAAP principles.

Experience collaborating with remote or offshore teams.
