This team is responsible for growing the penetration of Paytms PA PG business in the Indian merchants.

About the role :

We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager (KAM) to manage and grow relationships with our most strategic clients within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance sectors. The role focuses on driving the adoption and cross-sell of our full suite of digital products, maximizing revenue opportunities, ensuring client satisfaction, and positioning Paytm as a preferred technology and distribution Manage a portfolio of high-value, strategic accounts in the BFSI and Insurance domain (e.g., top banks, large insurance companies, major NBFCs).

  • Build and maintain strong, multi-level relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and CXOs across client organizations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all commercial, operational, and business escalations, ensuring a quick and satisfactory resolution to maintain client trust and retention.
  • Drive up-sell and cross-sell of BFSI-focused solutions such as : Loan repayments, insurance premium collections, Payment Gateway services, bill payments.
  • Collaborate with internal Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to design, customize, and deliver solutions that meet the complex regulatory and business requirements of BFSI clients.
  • Monitor transaction volumes, analyze portfolio trends, and identify new opportunities for aggressive account growth and deep-rooted partnerships.
  • Negotiate and finalize complex commercial agreements, contracts, and renewals with key accounts to ensure profitable business engagement.
  • Track competition and provide market intelligence and deep insights on the BFSI and FinTech landscape to support product and business strategy.
  • Deliver on revenue targets, activation metrics, penetration of new product lines, and high client retention KPIs.
  • Ensure all client integrations and solutions adhere strictly to internal compliance policies and external regulatory guidelines (RBI, IRDAI, SEBI).
