About The Role

Crunchyroll is growing rapidly, presenting exciting challenges and opportunities as we support millions of anime fans around the world. The Reliability Engineering team plays a critical role in ensuring Crunchyroll fans have an exceptional anime experience across Web Browsers and consumer electronic devices - including TVs, set-top boxes, and game consoles.

As part of this dynamic team, you'll help shape the future of quality at scale by developing automated tests, tools, frameworks and infrastructure. Your work will enable us to move faster, scale efficiently, and deliver exceptional anime experiences to even more fans around the globe.

What you will be doing :

• Develop automated tests and tools for the consumer electronics devices our fans use to enjoy Crunchyroll, with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Innovatively create and develop techniques to automate manual activities in our development and testing process
• Own the end-to-end tests executed in our CI / CD pipeline, with responsibility for triaging failures and reporting results
• Operate in a highly cross-functional environment where you can leverage multiple teams to help our partners be successful
• Set direction and build consensus to drive long-term positive impact on the engineering ecosystem
• Evangelize and drive adoption of software development best practices in code health, quality and test stability through frameworks and information sharing, not rules and process
