Job Title : Investment Associate

Location : Mumbai

Experience : Upto 4 years

Type : Full-time

Reporting To : Chief Investment Officer

Education (one or more is a must) : CA / CFA (level III cleared) / MBA (Finance) / Masters in Finance

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies across sectors (both listed and private)

Conduct deep dives into industries and markets to identify emerging trends and opportunities

Assess competitive positioning, build investment thesis, identify key drivers of value, key risks, and business model sustainability

Analyze company financials and key metrics to support investment recommendations

Build and maintain detailed financial models for target and portfolio companies

Perform valuation using DCF, relative valuation, and other relevant methodologies

Prepare high-quality investment memos and presentations (Word & PowerPoint) for the Investment Committee

Summarize complex data and research into clear, concise, and actionable insights

Monitor portfolio companies and sectoral developments

Candidate profile

Upto 4 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance

Proven experience in building financial models independently (case study may be part of the selection process)

Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting, valuation, and corporate finance principles

Excellent command over MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (advanced Excel skills preferred)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious

Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a lean team

Passion for investing and long-term wealth creation
