Role Description

This is a contract-based Food Technologist role with remote work arrangements. The Food Technologist will conduct research and development for innovative food products, perform sensory evaluations, and oversee quality control processes. Day-to-day tasks also include collaborating with vendors and flavoring houses, utilizing laboratory techniques for food testing, and ensuring product compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Food Technology and Research and Development (R&D)
• Proficiency in Sensory Evaluation to assess and improve product quality
• Hands-on experience with Laboratory Skills and Quality Control processes
• Attention to detail and an understanding of food industry regulations and compliance
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field
• Experience with flavor development or working with flavor houses is a plus
