SimplifyVMS is a next-generation Vendor Management System (VMS) and Contingent Workforce Management Platform designed for global enterprises and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Our multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS platform helps organizations manage contingent labor, SOW engagements, and service procurement with agility, compliance, and intelligence.

With customers across North America, EMEA, and APAC, SimplifyVMS is building a scalable, secure, and globally compliant platform that supports multi-region data storage, GDPR compliance, multi-currency transactions, and localization across multiple hierarchies and organizational levels.

SimplifyVMS powers complex, highly configurable enterprise workflows across multiple countries, currencies, and languages. We're looking for a hands‐on QA Manager who owns end‐to‐end product quality outcomes, brings an AI‐first testing mindset, and can scale rigorous, automation‐heavy quality practices for a global platform.

What you'll do

  • Own the quality bar for a multi‐tenant, configuration‐rich B2B SaaS platform; define the test strategy and ship-readiness criteria for every release.
  • Lead and develop a team of 7–8 QA engineers (hiring, coaching, 1 : 1s, growth plans, performance reviews) while remaining hands‐on with complex investigations.
  • Scale automation across UI, API, services, data pipelines, and integrations; drive shift‐left testing with developers and SDETs.
  • Apply AI natively : use LLMs / AI tools to generate test cases, expected outcomes / oracles, test data, and regression summaries; build AI‐assisted validation flows for edge cases and configuration explosions.
  • Design thousands of scenarios and combinatorial suites that challenge functionality, security, performance, and reliability across locales, currencies, time zones, and user roles.
  • Performance & load testing : establish SLAs / SLOs, capacity models, soak tests, and failure budgets; partner with DevOps to run scalable, repeatable load tests in CI.
  • Data privacy & compliance testing : validate features against international data laws (e.g., GDPR, DPDP Act, CCPA) and customer data‐residency requirements; champion privacy‐by‐design and secure test‐data practices.
  • Configuration & rules testing : build frameworks to validate complex business rules, rate cards, workflows, and approvals across countries / clients with feature flags and tenant configs.
  • CI / CD quality gates : own build health, flaky‐test reduction, and release quality metrics; automate go / no‐go signals.
  • Cross‐functional leadership : partner with Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance, and Customer Success; coordinate enterprise UAT and post‐release validations.

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years in software testing for global B2B SaaS, including 3–5+ years leading QA teams; HR Tech / VMS, HCM, ATS, or fintech / payroll domain is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record testing highly configurable, multi‐tenant platforms with multi‐currency and multilingual support.
  • Deep test automation expertise (framework design, code reviews, quality of asserts, maintainability). Hands‐on with at least two of : Playwright, Cypress, Selenium / WebDriver, TestNG / JUnit, RestAssured, Pact (contract testing).
  • AI‐first mindset : practical experience using AI tools (e.g., Testim / Mabl / Functionize / TestSigma, or custom LLM workflows) to author / maintain tests, generate data, and flag anomalies.
  • Strong API, integration, and data validation chops (REST / GraphQL, webhooks, message queues; SQL proficiency; test data management; schema evolution).
  • Performance / Load testing at scale using JMeter, k6, Gatling, or Locust; ability to read APM metrics and bottleneck profiles.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance implications in HR Tech : PII / PHI handling, RBAC / SoD, audit trails, retention, DPIAs, cross‐border data transfers.
  • CI / CD and DevOps collaboration (GitHub / GitLab Actions, Jenkins, Docker / K8s); cloud familiarity (AWS / Azure) and observability (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and crisp documentation skills.
  • What you'll own (outcomes & metrics)

  • Release quality KPIs (P0 / P1 escape rate, change failure rate, pass rate, flaky rate).
  • Coverage across critical user journeys and tenant configurations; measurable reduction in config‐driven regressions.
  • Time‐to‐detect / resolve for defects (MTTD / MTTR) and defect containment prior to UAT / production.
  • Performance SLAs (latency, throughput, error budgets) validated per release.
  • Nice to have

  • Experience in contingent workforce / VMS, SOW procurement, timesheets, rate management, compliance workflows.
  • Contract testing, consumer‐driven contracts, and test data virtualization.
  • Prior success in maturing QA from manual‐heavy to automation‐first with AI‐assisted authoring.
