BRIEF

We are looking for a creative, organized, problem-solving designer to help create our seasonal children's and lifestyle bedding collections and see them through from conceptualization to delivery. An ideal candidate has creative vision and exciting new product ideas and is also comfortable working with pattern makers, technical designers, and manufacturers.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Researching seasonal trends, fabrics, prints and colors
• Develop mood boards for seasonal design presentation
• Create a complete range on paper.
• illustrate original designs based on internal concepts and / or design references.
• Translate hand-drawn or digital sketches into production-ready artwork, ensuring print scalability and quality.
• Experiment with various design techniques, to produce diverse creative outputs.
• Execute the design process from beginning to end with minimal supervision.
• Creating seamless patterns and artwork using CAD
• Translating design concepts and creating flats accordingly
• Support merchandising and new product development
• Pattern and print design for woven and print fabrics; repeats, and recolors
• Keep highly organized records of design communication and approval standards
• Day to day up keep of sample and production files and organization of specs and development packages
• Staying on calendar by setting specific schedules of each development stage set by production.
• Creating conspicuous and detailed technical packages for all classifications.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS NEEDED

Ideal candidate must have a degree in Fashion or equivalent from a reputed institute.
