Job Description :
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in core banking solutions to join our clients technology transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing scalable, secure, and compliant solutions across retail, corporate, and digital banking channels.
This role requires both technical excellence and business acumen to bridge the gap between banking requirements and technology execution.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in solution architecture roles within the core banking domain.
- Proven expertise in core banking systems (such as Temenos, Finacle, Flexcube, or similar).
- Strong understanding of banking business processes :
1. CASA (Current Accounts & Savings Accounts)
2. Loans & Lending Products
3. Trade Finance
4. Payments (SWIFT, RTGS, NEFT, IMPS, UPI, etc.)
5. Treasury
6. General Ledger (GL) and Reconciliation
Experience designing solutions across Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, and Digital Banking Channels.Proficiency in integration technologies :1. REST / SOAP APIs
2. MQ, Kafka
3. Messaging Standards : ISO 20022, ISO 8583
Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance :
PCI-DSS, GDPR, local banking regulationsData governance and privacyStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors.Roles & Responsibilities :
Architect end-to-end banking solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into solution blueprints and technical designs.Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including design, development, integration, and deployment.Define integration patterns and best practices for connecting core banking systems with digital platforms and third-party systems.Ensure that all solutions meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and performance.Conduct architecture reviews, assess risks, and provide mitigation strategies.Stay updated with emerging technologies in the banking and fintech space to recommend innovative solutions.Support project teams during implementation by providing guidance, governance, and technical oversight.Experience Required :
Minimum 10 years of IT experience, with 5+ years as a Solution Architect in core banking.Hands-on experience in banking domain processes and integration technologies.Strong knowledge of core banking systems and their modernization.Ability to design solutions across multiple channels (mobile, web, branch, corporate portals).(ref : hirist.tech)
