Were looking for a talented highly motivated and business-oriented Senior Corporate Counsel (India / APJ) to join our Legal team in India. This role provides legal advice and support across Zscalers APJ operations including Japan Singapore and Australia. Reporting to the VP Associate General Counsel - Employment (based in San Jose US) youll be responsible for :

• Supporting all India and APJ employment legal matters while assisting with global employment legal priorities and initiatives from headquarters
• Partnering with People & Culture and business leaders to provide legal advice on labor and employment matters in India and APJ and supporting Employee Relations on complaints and investigations
• Advising Zscalers People & Culture team on employment law compliance in India and APJ addressing areas such as hiring compensation benefits mobility performance management terminations training and investigations
• Working independently to identify gaps in employment law and compliance advising on corrective actions driving policy development and updating compliance plans with the People & Culture team based on evolving laws
• Drafting and reviewing employment policies supporting People & Culture and Employee Relations through guidance and documentation and managing disputes litigation and regulatory proceedings with the assistance of outside counsel
