Role Summary : We are seeking a
dynamic and results-oriented Ad Sales Manager
to responsible for revenue generation for
Republic Bharat , our flagship Hindi news channel. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in linear television ad sales, strong relationships with media agencies and direct clients, and a proven track record of closing high-value deals across sectors such as
real estate, education, and Defense .
Key Responsibilities :
1. Revenue Generation & Business Development
Sell advertising formats including
commercial spots ,
branded content , and
Fixed Time Commercial (FTC)
slots.
Monetize
channel IPs ,
special programming , and
editorial integrations .
Expand market reach in
Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities
through localized sales strategies.
2. Client & Agency Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with
media agencies ,
brand marketers , and
decision-makers .
Engage with planners, buyers, and CMOs to pitch
customized media solutions .
Ensure high levels of
client satisfaction ,
retention , and
repeat business .
3. Strategic Sales Planning
Develop and execute
account-level strategies
aligned with channel goals.
Provide
market intelligence ,
competitive benchmarking , and identify
new growth opportunities .
Collaborate with leadership on
pricing ,
packaging , and
inventory planning .
4. Campaign Execution & Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams including
Programming ,
Traffic ,
Creative , and
Operations
to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Monitor campaign performance, delivery metrics, and client feedback.
5. Team Leadership & Management
Lead and mentor a
high-performing sales team , fostering a culture of
ownership ,
agility , and
excellence .
Set clear
KPIs , conduct regular performance reviews, and drive accountability.
Candidate Profile : Experience :
10–15 years in
Media Ad Sales , preferably in
Linear TV .
Industry Network :
Strong relationships with
media agencies ,
advertisers , and
sector-specific clients .
Sector Expertise :
Proven success in campaigns across
real estate ,
education , and
Defense .
Skills : Excellent
negotiation ,
presentation , and
communication
abilities.

Work Schedule :
Monday to Saturday (Alternate Saturdays working)
