Job description

Job Title : Business Development Executive

Experience Required : 1–2 years

Location : Bangalore & Chennai

Department : Sales / Business Development

Reports To : Business Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify, qualify, and generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, and outreach.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline by targeting relevant industries and decision-makers.
  • Maintain and update CRM with accurate lead and activity data.

2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Conduct initial discovery calls and product presentations to understand client needs and position suitable solutions.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with prospects and clients through consistent follow-up and value-driven communication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective client responses.
  • 3. Sales Pipeline Management

  • Own the lead lifecycle from initial outreach to opportunity conversion.
  • Track, monitor, and report key sales metrics including lead conversion rates, meeting targets, and pipeline status.
  • Support the closure process by coordinating with senior sales or account managers.
  • 4. Market Research & Intelligence

  • Conduct competitor analysis, market mapping, and industry research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Share actionable insights with sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies.
  • 5. Campaign Execution & Reporting

  • Assist in executing targeted email and outbound campaigns, and track performance (open / click rates, responses).
  • Generate reports and dashboards on lead gen activities, prospect engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proven ability in cold calling and email prospecting.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with Sales Navigator and email automation tools.
  • Time management and organisational excellence.
