Job description5+ years of hands-on experience with Teradata development and utilities. Strong proficiency in Teradata SQL and utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPT, TPump). Experience in performance tuning and query optimization in Teradata. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Experience with data modeling and database design principles. Familiarity with shell scripting and automation tools for managing data pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with large datasets in a complex data environment. Proactive, Good Communication skills and should be able to handle demanding customers and stakeholders.

Job Description – Teradata Engineer
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and optimize Teradata solutions to support data warehousing and analytical needs.
- Utilize Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, Fast Load, MultiLoad, FastExport and TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Develop complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to meet business requirements.
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and ensure data accuracy across Teradata environments.
- Optimize Teradata queries for performance and scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data loads and resolve issues related to ETL processes.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and standards for data integration and management.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers as needed.
