PurelyGreen Goods aims to be an impactful player in the chemical-free, organic farming business. Our mission is to offer healthy, eco-friendly alternatives to daily products that may not be good for your health.

As part-time Business Development & Sales Interns, you will learn details of indoor-farming, get hands-on business development and on-ground sales experience in a slow and steady manner and still have time to study and complete your education : ). These are hands-on indoor-farming, business and sales internship opportunities.

OFFICE LOCATION : Behind Morya Estate, Lower Oshiwara (opposite to Infiniti Mall), Andheri West, Mumbai - 400053

Opportunities :

  • Business Development (Hybrid) : Pursuing BBA / BMS / B.Com or similar field only (Read job-description below)
  • On-Ground Direct Sales (On-Site) : Pursuing BBA / BMS / B.Com or UG / PG / Diploma in Horticulture students only (Read job-description below)
  • Business Development Responsibilities :

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to expand the business network.
  • Assist in creating marketing strategies and promotional materials to increase brand awareness and sales.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to recommend improvements in products and services.
  • Support the team in preparing business proposals, presentations, and reports.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align business development efforts with sales goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to balance internship and your education.
  • Business Development Qualifications :

  • Pursuing BBA / BMS / B.Com or similar field only
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of organic farming, sustainability, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Digital Marketing tools is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for learning about eco-friendly products and the vegetable and grain market.
  • Thrives in a client-facing role and is business savvy.
  • On-Ground Direct Sales Responsibilities :

  • Engage directly with vendors and customers at various site and local markets to promote and sell PurelyGreen Goods products throughout Mumbai.
  • Demonstrate product features and benefits, emphasizing chemical-free and organic qualities.
  • Collect customer feedback, customer contact information and report insights.
  • Assist in setting up and managing sales displays and promotional events.
  • Maintain inventory records and ensure product availability during sales activities.
  • Build and nurture positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to balance internship and your education.
  • On-Ground Direct Sales Qualifications :

  • Pursuing BBA / BMS / B.Com or UG / PG / Diploma in Horticulture, with an interest in the horticulture business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to communicate product information clearly and persuasively.
  • Comfortable working on-site with flexible hours to accommodate sales events.
  • Basic knowledge or interest in organic farming and eco-friendly products is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to customer needs and feedback.
  • Street-smart and business savvy.
