Job Overview
The Regional Business Director is responsible for achieving corporate sales and broking targets in their assigned region. They will work closely with the Zone Sales Teams to deliver results and ensure growth and career development of team members.
Main Responsibilities
- Achieve line-wise target allocated to the Region through effective relationship building, activation of brokers, and engagement programs.
- Activate brokers in the Region and build relationships in the domain.
- Target major direct accounts to deliver budgeted numbers.
- Conduct brokers and agents engagement programs to achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop new channels to expand business and explore new opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with other departments like Underwriting, Claims, and others.
- Hire, engage, and manage Zone Sales Teams towards achievement of organizational goals.
- Responsible for the growth and career development of each team member.
Specialized Skills and Qualifications
Relationship building and communication skills are essential for this role.At least 10+ years of professional experience in the location, preferably in corporate sales and knowledge of local market.Experience in handling broking relationships and large direct clients relationships in previous assignments.MBA in Marketing with at least 10+ years of post-qualification experience, including minimum 8+ years of GI experience in corporate sales and broking relationships.
