Freelance Strategy Consultant – Transport & Logistics

Our Client is a leading consulting firm and are looking to engage with a Associate Consultant – Transport & Logistics.

The role involves conducting transport studies, analyzing logistics networks using QGIS and other GIS tools, and supporting infrastructure planning. The ideal candidate will have expertise in transport modeling, logistics optimization, stakeholder coordination, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and transport authorities to gather data

and insights.

2. Develop GIS maps, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights

effectively.

3. Conduct traffic movement, and logistics assessments using geospatial and

statistical tools.

4. Utilize QGIS and other transport modeling software to analyze transport

corridors, road networks, and freight flows.

5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage project documentation, and

proactively tracking the project progress and milestones of transport and

infrastructure initiatives.

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in transport planning, coordination, traffic assessment, or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in program / project management, stakeholder engagement,
• and preferably policy research.
• Preferable Expertise in QGIS / ArcGIS, and other GIS or transport modeling tools.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,
• PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and other visualization tools.
