Us Tax Specialist

Key Responsibilities Review and manage preparation of complex US Real Estate tax returns including :

Form 1065 (Partnerships)

Form 1120 / 1120-REIT (Corporations & REITs)

High-net-worth individual returns with real estate schedules

Oversee tax compliance cycles and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

Review work papers, depreciation schedules, fixed assets, and real estate transaction details.

Manage and mentor a team of tax associates and senior associates.

Provide guidance on federal and state tax laws related to real estate investments.

Communicate with US clients to clarify requirements and report status updates.

Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality.

Assist with tax planning, projections, and advisory related to real estate portfolios.

Required Qualifications

7-10+ years of solid experience in US Taxation , specifically in real estate .

Proven experience reviewing complex real estate partnership and corporate returns.

Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax regulations.

Experience working with US clients (CPA firms or real estate groups preferred).

Proficiency in tax software such as UltraTax, GoSystem, CCH Axcess, ProConnect , etc.

Excellent analytical, communication, and review skills.
