Sr. Associate - Accounts & Taxation - Bengaluru

Job Summary :

A leading alternative asset management and real estate developer company is keen to hire a qualified Chartered Accountant for the Accounts and Taxation role with the designation Senior Associate designation who will be responsible for handling key financial and tax-related responsibilities.

Our client is one of India’s largest privately held firms, renowned for developing and managing high-end real assets across sectors like commercial offices, mixed-use spaces, industrial parks, logistics hubs, hospitality, and data centres. It partners with global institutional investors, with a strong emphasis on sustainability, smart infrastructure, digital integration, and architectural excellence.

Location : Central Bengaluru

Designation : Senior Associate

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare financial statements, including the consolidation of accounts where applicable, with strict adherence to IFRS / Ind AS Accounting Standards.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal and Big 4 auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and assist in audit-related queries.
  • Develop budgets and financial plans based on data-driven analysis to support business goals.
  • Oversee general ledger functions and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Handle investor MIS and related reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a background from a Big 6 firm or other large, reputable corporations.
  • Good practical and technical knowledge of accounting standards (IND AS and IFRS)
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and direct and indirect taxation. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems is essential.
  • Experience in leading large teams is required. Must be able to manage multiple stakeholders, including senior investors, and handle difficult situations with maturity.
  • Strong working experience and knowledge of the Income Tax Act and elements of GST are crucial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Real estate experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills.

    • Education : Chartered Accountant

    Experience : 4 -8 years of post-qualification

    Work type : Work from office

    Work schedule : Monday – Friday (Alternate Saturdays Half Day working)
