Job Description – ServiceNow QA Engineer Position : ServiceNow QA Engineer Location : Onsite / Remote / Hybrid (as applicable) Experience : 3–8 Years Employment Type : Full-time / Contract (as applicable) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled ServiceNow QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in testing ServiceNow applications, including ITSM modules, custom applications, integrations, and automation using ATF. This role requires deep functional understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and hands-on expertise in quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test cases for ServiceNow modules and custom applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across ServiceNow implementations. Conduct end-to-end testing of ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Request, and Knowledge. Utilize ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to build and maintain automated test suites. Validate new features, enhancements, workflows, and scripts developed within the platform. Log, track, and manage defects using ServiceNow or JIRA and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution. Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability and identify potential gaps. Support UAT cycles, assist business users, and ensure smooth release management. Ensure adherence to best practices, QA standards, and documentation processes. Required Skills & Qualifications 3–8 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow QA / Testing. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules and platform configuration. Proven experience in ATF automation (mandatory). Experience testing custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, integrations, and APIs. Familiarity with QA methodologies, STLC, and defect lifecycle management. Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification. Experience with ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other ServiceNow modules. Knowledge of JavaScript for validating client / server scripts. Experience with test management and tracking tools (JIRA, ServiceNow Test Management).
