As a
Partnerships & Business Development Intern , you’ll play a key role in driving our merchant acquisition and strategic partnership initiatives for our consumer lending business. Working closely with the founding team, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how fintech partnerships are identified, built, and scaled. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of business development while contributing to the growth of a fast-paced fintech startup.
Your responsibilities will include :
Researching and mapping potential merchants, categories, and geographies for partnerships
Assisting in outreach, onboarding, and relationship management of merchants for our lending solutions
Supporting negotiations, documentation, and process coordination for new collaborations
Coordinating with product and tech teams to enable smooth integration and merchant training
Tracking and analyzing performance metrics to report on partnership and acquisition progress
Staying updated on industry trends across BNPL, credit, and consumer lending
Who You Are
Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Strong interest in fintech, digital lending, and payments ecosystems
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a “get-things-done” mindset
Comfortable with research, data analysis, and tools like MS Excel / Google Sheets
A self-starter eager to learn, adapt, and take ownership of projects
