Business Insights Analyst

About the Role :

We are seeking an attentive and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Data Engineer and leverage our advanced technology stack to extract meaningful insights from data, support data-driven decision-making, and contribute to the overall success of our data initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualisation, and experience with the technologies mentioned previously.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the Lead Data Engineer to gather, process, and analyze large datasets.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using AWS QuickSight.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis.
• Use Python and PySpark to conduct data cleaning, transformation, and analysis tasks.
• Support data integration and transformation processes, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes using Apache Airflow.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all analytical tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
• Document analytical processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
• Provide support in data-driven projects and contribute to the team's efforts in improving data availability and usability.
• Proactively identify and communicate any data-related issues or discrepancies to the Lead Data Engineer and offer potential solutions.
• Participate in data validation and data cleaning activities to maintain high standards of data integrity.
