Role Overview

We are seeking a Content Marketing Manager who can own and drive Hookaba’s content strategy across platforms. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing engaging content that grows brand awareness, builds community, and drives sales. If you live and breathe content, understand youth culture, and know how to blend storytelling with performance marketing, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a content calendar across social media, website, email, and PR.
  • Shape Hookaba’s brand voice to resonate with Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and lifestyle audiences.

Content Creation & Management

  • Oversee creation of high-quality content (videos, blogs, reels, campaigns, UGC, influencer collabs).
  • Manage freelancers, creators, and agencies when needed.
  • Social Media & Community Building

  • Drive engagement on Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Build and nurture a community of fans, creators, and event partners.
  • Performance & Growth

  • Optimize content for reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Track KPIs (engagement rate, traffic, leads, sales) and prepare monthly reports.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with design, sales, and product teams to launch new products with impactful campaigns.
  • Coordinate with event / wedding planners and brand collaborators for content partnerships.
  • Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in content marketing / social media / brand storytelling.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing digital campaigns, short-form video, and youth-centric content.
  • Understanding of Gen Z / Gen Alpha digital behavior, trends, and pop culture.
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or AI content tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO, paid media basics, and content analytics.
  • A creative hustler—someone who thrives in a startup environment and can execute hands-on.
  • Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with D2C or lifestyle brands.
  • Exposure to event marketing / wedding industry / music festivals.
  • Passion for Fashion, Tech, or LED culture.
