engineer manages, supervises, and controls on-site construction activities to ensure a project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to specifications. Key responsibilities include reviewing designs and plans, liaising with stakeholders, managing labor and materials, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and preparing progress reports.

Core Responsibilities

Project Management : Overseeing all on-site activities from planning to completion, ensuring alignment with project designs, specifications, and timelines.

Technical Oversight : Checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy, ensuring materials and work comply with specifications, and providing technical guidance to the construction team.

Quality and Safety : Implementing and maintaining strict health, safety, and quality control measures on the construction site, ensuring adherence to regulations.

Resource Management : Managing project budgets, overseeing the requisition and selection of construction materials, and monitoring resource allocation.

Communication and Coordination : Liaising with architects, project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other professionals to facilitate smooth project progression.

Reporting and Documentation : Preparing and submitting detailed site reports, documenting project progress, and maintaining all necessary project documentation.

Problem-Solving : Identifying and resolving technical difficulties, issues, and delays that arise during the construction process.
