Job descriptionAct as BFA for development and enhancement of our API based SaaS platform. Expertise in Corporate Banking areas - Payments, Trade, Cash Management and Money Market Funds. Strong communication skills to articulate clear requirements, acceptance criteria, review technical specs and ensure traceability for quality assurance. Know-how of technical aspects of security, authentication, authorisation, scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance. Individual with a talent for designing and connecting APIs to Business Objective, with an API-First design approach. Collaborate with stakeholders including product managers, developers, UX / UI designers, Subject Matter Experts to gather product requirements. Ensure product backlog is groomed and aligned with product roadmap. Documenting both functional and non-functional requirements which helps to build test scenarios. Participate in all scrum team ceremonies as a BFA and provide guidance, resolve conflicts, and enable solution for technical and functional requirements aligning to Business roadmap. Design and document integration patterns to connect with FinTech Partners, Banks and other 3rd party providers to enhance product offering. Partner with Sales and prospective Clients to understand business needs, prepare solution proposals, support RFPs with clear functional documentation. Conduct discovery surveys to translate clients' requirements into actionable features for prioritization and development. Analyse sales pipeline to identify trends and opportunities, translating them to a backlog and create a tractional plan for resolution. Experience in designing API driven products development with using tools like (Swagger, Soap UI, Postman) Experience in designing interactive and enriched user experience UI APPs for Banking solutions. Experience in using / following - ADO, JIRA, GIT, Confluence, Test case management, test strategies and execution plan. Experience in working on Cloud Native solution using either of the providers i.e., AWS, Azure, or Google. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and elaboration skills. Knowledge of ISO20022 formats across Payments, Collections, Account Management, Trade Financing, Cash Management (Invoices, Mandates, Credit Notes). Experience in UI and API automation using Cypress, Selenium, Karate is a plus. Experience with modern SDLC tools - Git, JIRA, Git Workflow is a plus. Understanding of microservices architecture, integration of different services etc. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Total experience of 14+ as a BFA & proven experience (10+ years) in the Large Banks, SaaS and FinTech industry, creating Banking related products. Strong understanding of API-first designed products and experience working with complex API integrations. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira, ADO). Excellent communication, collaboration, conflict management and stakeholder management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into actionable product plans. Knowledge of Development, Automation and DevOps / SRE is a plus.
