Test Analyst
As a Test Analyst, you will be an integral part of the UAT team, responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of our software solutions.
You will work closely with business users and other team members to validate system functionality.
Key Responsibilities :
- UAT Execution : Execute UAT test cases thoroughly, document results, and report defects accurately.
- E2E UAT Delivery : Be responsible for the UAT outcomes and take ownership of the end-to-end UAT delivery for assigned modules or features.
- Stakeholder Interaction : Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including business users, developers, and other testers, to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Defect Management : Log, track, and retest defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Requirement Understanding : Develop a deep understanding of business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
Qualifications & Experience :
Experience : 2- 6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on UAT.Domain Expertise : Preferably possess experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, specifically with Motor / Fleet Claims.Guidewire Experience : Guidewire platform experience (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) is an added Skills :Test Management Tools : Proficiency with industry-standard test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or HP ALM. Experience in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and managing defect lifecycles is essential.Database Skills : Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases to perform data validation, backend testing, and root cause analysis of defects.API & Integration Testing : Familiarity with testing APIs using tools like Postman or similar platforms to validate data exchange between systems.Methodologies : Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, with direct experience in Agile / Scrum environments.Guidewire Platform : Hands-on experience with the Guidewire suite, including ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or BillingCenter, is a significant advantage. This includes a grasp of the platform's configuration and functionality.Automation : While primarily a manual testing role, a basic understanding of test automation concepts or experience with automation tools like Selenium would be beneficial.(ref : hirist.tech)
