Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibility

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for machine components and fabricated items.
• Analyze technical drawings and specifications for accurate estimation.
• Perform reverse engineering for existing components and assemblies.
• Develop project cost estimation and budgeting plans.
• Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising quality.
• Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations and negotiate pricing.
• Select appropriate materials and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Understand manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly.
• Utilize CAD tools for estimation and interpretation of engineering drawings.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
