Key Responsibilities :
- Maintaining the working of systems in the office with minimum downtime
- Troubleshooting systems during networking issues, virus issues, booting issues, software issues, etc.
- Taking regular backups of projects, Outlook mails, downloaded software, and any other useful data
- Monitoring the internet usage in the office and alerting if the usage reaches the maximum allowed
- Maintaining clear records of backup DVDs and providing them to the concerned team whenever required
- Maintaining the security and confidentiality of the data and blocking all possible data theft mediums in the office premises
- Blocking USB drives for all systems
- Blocking personal email platforms like Yahoo, Gmail, Rediff, .in, MSN, etc.
- Managing printer, scanner, EPBX, fax; troubleshooting when required
- Taking backups of www.devangavivaha.com and www.hinduvivaha.com on a monthly basis
- Capturing video from handicam to system using the video capture card
- Downloading and installing needed software and plug-ins for the development team after approval from the Technical Director or Project Manager
- Maintaining software installers, antivirus installers, and other downloaded installers
- Creating and configuring email accounts for team members after approval from the Technical Director or Project Manager
- Maintaining FTP usernames and passwords for various CMPT domains and client domains
- Interacting with vendors to procure blank CDs or DVDs, RAM, hard disks, software, etc.
- Regular maintenance of systems with system defragmentation, clearing temp files, etc., should be planned and executed
- Ensuring only the needed software is installed in every system; any unwanted software should be removed
- Updating the Activity Manager regularly
- Taking backup of the Activity Manager on a monthly basis
- Monitoring the activities of development team members using remote desktop and reporting any suspicious activities to the Project Manager or Management
- Writing CDs and DVDs for project deliveries
- Learning and implementing new tools and technologies to help increase productivity
- Testing CDs or DVDs for functionality before delivery
- Fixing projector and laptops for client meetings and events
