Better Works hr is looking for a xero accountant for a firm in Mumbai.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Xero Accountant based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Xero Accountant will manage financial records, process invoices, handle bank reconciliations, and prepare financial reports using Xero accounting software. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations, assisting with budgeting, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Xero accounting software and general accounting principles
• Fintech
• Strong ability to manage and process financial records, including invoices and bank reconciliations
• Experience in preparing accurate and detailed financial reports
• Knowledge of tax regulations and financial compliance requirements in India
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to financial data
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for financial analysis
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CA, CPA, or ACCA are a plus
