Role Overview - Capitalmind Mutual Fund is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales to lead its distribution and growth initiatives. This leadership role is critical to scaling AUM across retail, digital, and institutional segments, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will combine deep knowledge of mutual fund distribution with the ability to build and lead a high-performing sales team from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities :
- Grow AUM across channels : Drive business through corporate treasuries, wealth distribution platforms, family offices, HNIs, RIAs, IFAs, and distributor-led sales.
- Institutional Coverage : Secure large allocations from corporate treasuries and institutional investors, especially in liquid and debt funds.
- Platform and Partner Management : Deepen distribution via fintech and digital platforms; build strategic partnerships with key wealth channels.
- Family Office & HNI : Develop relationships and connects with Family Offices and HNIs, positioning Capitalmind's unique investment philosophy as a differentiator.
- Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop sales plans, forecasts, and performance dashboards. Execute with clear accountability.
- Regular Plan Growth : Drive specific initiatives to increase AUM through Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) and lump-sum investments in Regular Mutual Fund plans, enhancing the stable long-term asset base
- Compliance Alignment : Ensure full compliance with SEBI / AMFI regulations in all sales and distribution activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product, marketing, compliance, and operations to align on go-to-market and investor experience.
- Team Building : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance pan-India sales team. Define structure, KPIs, and growth plans.
Candidate Profile :
Experience : 12-15 years in mutual fund or financial product distribution (BFSI / Fintech industry), with a proven track record in growing AUM and managing teams.Skills : Strong leadership, business development, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.Mindset : Entrepreneurial, results-driven, high-integrity professional with strategic thinking and hands-on execution ability.Mobility : Willingness to travel regularly to key markets and client locations.(ref : iimjobs.com)
