Quality Assurance Test Lead

Job Description :

Were looking for a QA Test Lead who is passionate about quality; not just as a phase, but as a core part of how great software gets built. This role would straddle multiple engineering squads, supporting with not just the QA strategy, but personally leading the automated testing efforts as well.

You'll bring your considerable knowledge of test automation to help us build new products that are reliable, performant, and resilient.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance across automated and manual testing, with hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (i.e. Cypress, Playwright) and API testing tools (e. Postman, RestAssured).

You will be responsible for defining and upholding standards for test quality across engineering squads, overseeing the work of Automation QAs / SDeTs and manual testers, and partnering with engineers and product managers to embed quality thinking from day one.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to embed quality practices from the earliest stages of development.
• Supporting squads with front-end, API, and end-to-end testing, facilitating BDD and three-amigos sessions, and ensuring integration across squads is properly validated.
• Challenging assumptions, asking the right questions, and promoting curiosity, you will help teams identify risks early and deliver features with :
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both automated and manual testing, with hands-on experience in test automation frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright, and API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• You should have a proven track record of designing automation strategies, building and maintaining regression suites, and mentoring QA teams.
• Strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance pragmatism with high-quality outcomes are essential.
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys enabling engineers to move quickly without compromising quality, and embraces a mindset that values impact, reliability, and continuous learning over rigid process adherence.
