Embedded Software Engineer

About the Role : We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Embedded Systems Engineer to join ourteam and contribute to the development of robust electronic systems for our autonomous marinevessels. As part of our dynamic startup journey, you will collaborate closely with our experiencedengineers and the founding members of the company, who are alumni of IIT Kharagpur. This roleoffers hands-on experience in the design, development, and testing of embedded systems designedto work faultlessly without manual intervention for months. This immersive experience will provideyou with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and complexities involved in developingrobust electronic systems capable of sustaining marine environments.Key Responsibilities :

• Engage in the planning, design, development, and testing of embedded systems for unmannedsurface and underwater vessels.
• Write high quality drivers for sensors and actuators.
• Integration of key electronic subsystems like Power Management and Distribution Systems, BatteryManagement Systems, Leak Detection, and motor controllers with mechanical and softwarecomponents.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of electronic systems and components.
• Document design specifications and implementation details.
• Select and evaluate electronic components and systems for marine applications.
• Assist in the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept designs.Requirements :
• 2+ Years of experience with a Bachelor's or dual degree in Mechatronics, Electrical and ElectronicsEngineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and InstrumentationEngineering.
• Experience working with microcontrollers (such as AVR, ARM, Cortex, etc.)
• Proficient in embedded programming languages, such as C and C++.
• Good understanding of essential communication protocols and interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, andCAN.
• Good hardware debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with soldering circuit boards.
• Familiar with EDA tools such as KiCad and Eagle.
• Hands-on experience with common sensors and motors.
