About the role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale

the core backend systems that power , an AI-driven preventive healthcare

platform.

You will play a key role in architecting resilient services, integrating AI pipelines, and

ensuring the scalability and reliability of the health operating system we are building.

Key Responsibilities :

• Backend Development :

Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable APIs and services using Python.

Drive both High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level (LLD) designs to ensure modular, secure, and high-performance backend components.

Take ownership of key backend modules from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.AI and Data Integration : Collaborate closely with AI / ML teams to build and optimize inference pipelines, data preprocessing, and model-serving APIs.

Optimize database performance across relational and NoSQL systems and implement effective caching strategies using Redis or similar tools.

Build distributed, fault-tolerant systems with strong observability, ensuring high uptime and consistent performance across environments.

Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and load tests to ensure reliability and quality at scale.

Apply secure coding practices, data privacy principles, and implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Work with product, mobile, compliance, and DevOps teams to deliver seamless and high-quality releases.

Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical standards, and mentor peers to promote engineering excellence.

Office Hours and Work Location

This role is a remote position based in India.

The role's minimum availability times is

9am to 5pm

The role is a full-time role and is required to work the hours necessary to achieve its purpose in collaboration with a broad, geographically and time availability complex team. It should be expected to require at times varied work hours to collaborate with international groups, organisations, and colleagues at times suitable for them. This will include weekend work, as well as early and late hours.

Work outside of normal office hours can be taken in lieu.
