Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with a strong background in Java and AWS to join our team.

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, secure cloud-based solutions to meet diverse business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business objectives into scalable and secure technical solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards
  • Drive architecture vision across application, integration, and infrastructure layers
  • Apply best practices using microservices, serverless, and event-driven patterns
  • Prepare detailed solution architecture deliverables, including assessments, roadmaps, and solution architecture documents
  • Facilitate architecture brainstorming and whiteboarding sessions with teams and clients
  • Lead technical reviews, design validations, and customer solution walkthroughs
  • Enable architectural decisions across domains, focusing on data, security, and integration
  • Design cloud-native applications and serverless solutions while ensuring scalability and high availability
  • Conduct architecture workshops and provide guidance in customer-facing technical discussions
  • Address Non-Functional Requirements such as performance, security, and scalability using architectural frameworks

Requirements

  • 13-19 years of experience in solution architecture and related roles
  • Proven expertise in Java 11 / 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
  • Strong implementation knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS / EKS, API Gateway, Step Functions, and SNS / SQS
  • 3+ projects in a solution architecture capacity within the last 5 years
  • Background in designing cloud-native applications and serverless solutions
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as Utility Trees and Quality Attribute Workshop (QAW)
  • Understanding of performance, security, scalability, and high availability
  • Capability to create detailed architecture artifacts, including solution diagrams, narratives, and WBS
  • Experience in direct customer-facing technical discussions and workshops
