New Contract Opportunity – SharePoint Migration Engineer

We’re working with a leading global tech organisation that is looking for an experienced Sharepoint Migration Engineer to join out team.

Contract : 2 Months (Extendable)

Location : Remote

Start : Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute SharePoint Online migrations using ShareGate.
Develop and manage detailed migration plans, timelines, and risk assessments.
Perform pre-migration analysis, data mapping, and validation checks.
Execute migration batches and monitor progress to ensure successful completion.
Conduct post-migration validation to ensure data integrity, permissions accuracy, and functionality alignment.
Provide L3-level technical support, resolving complex migration and integration issues.
Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams for smooth migration execution.
Document migration processes, lessons learned, and recommend optimization strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven hands-on experience in SharePoint Online migration using ShareGate.

Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, site collections, permissions, and content management.

Experience in troubleshooting migration failures and handling exceptions.

Solid understanding of PowerShell scripting for migration automation and post-validation tasks.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
