JD for Production Manager

Experience : 12+ Years

CTC : 18 to 20 LPA

Location : Andheri / Kandivali

Education Preference : B.E / Diploma in Production / Chemical Engineering

Working Days : 6 Days

Working Timings : 8 am to 4.30 pm

Markets : Preferred Domestic

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day production activities with accurate capacity planning to meet business goals.
  • Drive execution in line with defined KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), First Time Pass (FTP), Gross Loss, Net Loss, and Recovery.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and enhance people performance through training and skill development programs for higher efficiency.
  • Implement and oversee process monitoring systems and controls to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Analyze customer feedback, initiate corrective actions, and ensure continual improvement.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance (QA) parameters including third-party quality checks.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and compliance norms as per organizational policies and business protocols.

  • In-depth knowledge of diamond jewellery manufacturing processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in production tracking software and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on quality and timelines.

  • On-time delivery rate.
  • Quality pass percentage (FTP).
  • Wastage and rejection levels including gold loss.
  • Productivity per artisan / machine.
  • Cost control within approved budgets.
  • Process improvements and value additions for productivity and efficiency.
  • Gold recovery percentage.
  • Zero-tolerance adherence to safety and compliance norms.
