Senior Product Manager (Cybersecurity experience)

Role Overview :

  • Qualified candidates will be charged with making and encouraging unbiased strategic product decisions based on quantifiable means vs. opinion to give the company the best outcome.

About Role :

  • Drive product-led growth initiatives across the Data Security portfolio.
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy, working closely with senior management and product leadership.
  • Define business problems, desired customer outcomes, and create roadmap initiatives to deliver a meaningful impact to our business and customers
  • Execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap with input, oversight, and final approval from senior management in line with corporate strategy
  • Use data-focused approach and a thorough understanding of business unit strategies objectives, competitive landscape, and current potential future business opportunities.
  • Develop and expand knowledge of Trellix data security products and ability to participate in technical conversations related to the product with all stakeholders
  • Have a deep understanding of customer needs, the latest technologies, competitive products, market research, and industry trends to drive innovation through the introduction of new solutions and features that differentiate us from the competition - internationally and across multiple segments
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to manage the backlog, document and prioritize product specifications including major initiatives, use cases and product requirements for them to develop against
  • Collaborate with sales and product marketing, to define the go-to-market strategy for direct sales and channel partners, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer
  • Assist with development of product education and training for field sales and partner enablement in collaboration with the marketing and enablement teams
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs to ensure critical items are delivered with highest quality and released within agreed timelines.
  • Measure the success of products by defining and monitoring key metrics, adoption rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify the gaps and challenges in the existing processes and drive improvements.
  • Communicate product updates, changes, and progress to executives, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on product performance, translating data into actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Be the focal point for knowledge on customer needs, use cases, buying behaviors and purchase criteria internally within Trellix
  • Serve as the internal and external evangelist for your products and Trellixs Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Author and deliver thought-leadership content such as blog posts, whitepapers, articles, and presentations as well as speak at industry and customer forums to build awareness of the company and our solutions.
  • Be a positive influence on the Trellix team environment - collaborative, positive, helpful, and enabling the team to reach the best business and professional outcomes
  • About you 8+ years of Overall experience in in a technology industry
  • Minimum 5+ years of software product management experience
  • BA / BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile Development Methodology
  • Familiarity with SAFE and / or Scrum frameworks a positive
  • Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycles, DevOps, Agile practices, and Quality Assurance practices
  • Experience delivering / launching Enterprise B2B software to market
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong ownership, initiative, and ability to work independently with limited direction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate uncertainties by probing and gathering data to make informed product decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to forge and maintain relationships both internally and externally
  • Team player mentality with a strong sense of reliable and consistent individual responsibility
  • Mentor and coach junior product managers
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, guide, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve joint objectives
  • Ability to influence without authority and engage with senior leadership
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management ability with a deadline focus
  • Quick thinking and adaptable to challenging situations and exceptional in front of customers
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting in front of large and small audiences
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and attention to detail to deliver high quality output
  • High level of honesty and integrity with a strong work ethic and proactive thought leadership
  • Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a matrixed environment and across multiple time-zones.
