Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Java Developer
with strong expertise in
Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS)
and
Microservices architecture . The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications that integrate with Manhattan WMS, ensuring robust supply chain solutions and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development :
Design and implement Java-based applications and microservices using
Spring Boot ,
REST APIs , and
J2EE .
Manhattan WMS Integration :
Configure, customize, and maintain Manhattan WMS (Active platform, WMOS, SCI, MAWM).
System Interfaces :
Develop and maintain integrations between WMS and other enterprise systems (ERP, TMS) using
XML ,
EDI , and
APIs .
Performance Optimization :
Monitor and optimize WMS and microservices performance.
Testing & Deployment :
Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing; support CI / CD pipelines.
Collaboration :
Work closely with business analysts, warehouse operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Documentation :
Prepare technical design documents, configuration guides, and SOPs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in
Core Java ,
J2EE ,
Spring Frameworks
(MVC, Boot, Batch), and
Hibernate .
Hands-on experience with
Microservices architecture ,
RESTful Web Services , and
SOAP .
Experience with
Manhattan WMS
(Active platform, MOCA scripting, SCI).
Knowledge of
SQL / Oracle ,
JMS / Messaging
(Kafka, IBM MQ), and
API integration .
Familiarity with
CI / CD tools
(Jenkins, Bamboo),
version control
(Git), and
Agile methodologies .
Preferred : Exposure to
Cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure),
Docker / Kubernetes , and
OpenShift .
Understanding of
Design Patterns
and
performance tuning .
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Nice-to-Have
