Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Lead Engineer to join our Global Innovation Center (GIC) in India for Transco, a Marmon Rail Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VB.Net desktop applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at Transco US to maintain and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities / Functions :

• Design, development, and deployment of new features and enhancements in VB.NET.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, and support staff
• Hands On with development and serve as the primary point of contact for technical queries
• Implement best practices for code quality, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
• Mandatory Skills :
• Languages / Frameworks : VB.NET 2012,2022
• Databases : MSSQL Server, MySQL (Strong SQL and Stored Procedures, Triggers)
• Web Technologies : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Advanced DHTML, (Nice to Have)
• API Development : RESTful APIs and integration
• Collaboration & Support :
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide support for upgrades and performance tuning
• Performance Optimization :
• Analyse and optimize the performance of the solution for smooth user experience.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to both the front-end (UI) and back-end.
• Reports :
• Experience in building complex and domain-specific reports using Crystal Reports
