Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Design Engineer role located in Pune. The Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to design engineering, mechanical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), electrical engineering, and product design.

Qualifications

Qualification : B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Preferable) or Diploma in Mechanical

Experience : 1-3 years

Scope and responsibilities :

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Engineer, located in Pune.

1. Preparation of general layout (GA) drawing for process equipment.

2. Create BOM for the procurement & fabrication.

3. Drawing revision as per manufacturing & customer feedback.

4. Create 2D and 3D models of process equipment using CAD tools.

5. Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers and manufacturing

personnel.

Requirement :

1. Hands on experience with software such as Auto-CAD and Solid edge.

2. arrangement (GA) drawing and The ability to create general detailed fabrication

drawing essential.

3. Prepares detailed material take-offs on projects based upon drawings, plans and

specifications.

4. Good knowledge and hands-on experience of drawing presentation, critical

dimensioning, view presentations and parts list preparation.

5. Must have knowledge of manufacturing processes like laser cutting, bending,

welding, basic machining.

6. Good knowledge and hands-on experience on advance assemblies and layouts with

GD&T, surface finishes, welding details and engineering notes

7. Working knowledge of SAP system (Better to have).

8. Experience in making GA layouts will be an added advantage.

9. At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in Solid edge.

10. Quick learner and adopt the existing system.
