Furniture CAD Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Furniture Draughtman / Furniture CAD Designer with deep technical expertise and a passion for precision. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional eye for detail, expertise in SolidWorks and a deep understanding of furniture construction, and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings ready for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical and shop drawings for custom, luxury furniture pieces.
• Collaborate closely with interior designers and production teams to ensure design intent and technical feasibility.
• Specify materials, hardware, and finishes based on design and functionality.
• Conduct on-site measurements and coordinate with vendors / workshops for execution accuracy.
• Ensure alignment between design aesthetics and technical practicality .

Skills & Experience Required

✨ Minimum 7 years of experience in furniture drafting and technical design.

✨ Strong understanding of furniture joinery, materials, and fabrication processes .

✨ Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and technical drawing software .

✨ Ability to interpret and convert conceptual sketches into production-ready drawings.

✨ Excellent spatial understanding, precision, and problem-solving ability.

✨ Strong coordination and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
