About the Job
The Construction Manager position involves overseeing DAS and BTS projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and delivering high-quality results. This individual will be responsible for coordinating logistics, managing crews, and utilizing various tools to achieve project goals.
- This includes leading remote teams at project sites, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, and maintaining open lines of communication with all stakeholders.
- A strong background in DAS, Small Cell, RF cabling, fiber optic installations, and related infrastructure is essential for success in this role.
- Experience working in various settings such as hospitals, commercial buildings, stadiums, airports, and campuses is highly valued.
- Multiproject management is also a critical aspect of this job, requiring the ability to assemble and install communication equipment efficiently.
- The successful candidate will possess problem-solving skills and be able to develop site-based solutions to address project challenges.
- Proficiency in RF tools such as iBwave and RF Vision is necessary for accurate data collection and analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in DAS areas including cabling, Fiber, BTS / HE, conduit / electrical is required.
- Working knowledge of test equipment PIM testing, sweep analyzers, OTDR, and signal generating sets is also desirable.
- Troubleshooting issues handling trouble tickets alarming maintenance activities will be a significant part of this role.
- Liaising with other workers to locate and correct malfunctions will be an ongoing task.
- Conducting daily safety meetings JSAs tool box meetings and ensuring a safe working environment will be a top priority.
- Preparing and distributing performance reports as required will be another responsibility.
- Maintaining material management conducting site surveys quality checks and job audits will be crucial to the success of this role.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in DAS Construction management.
An Associate's degree or equivalent technical management experience is preferred.Familiarity with business concepts related to IT and networking is essential.Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment are necessary for success in this role.Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are required.Current industry-related licenses and certifications are preferred but not mandatory.What We Offer
