We're early, and assembling a world-class team in Bengaluru to build v1 → v10.

The Role

As our Founding Engineer, you'll own zero-to-one product and platform decisions, write a ton of production code, and put in place the engineering practices that define Atrean's DNA. You'll ship quickly, talk to customers, and scale what works. If you're excited by ambiguous problems, data plumbing, and crafting delightful APIs, you'll love this.

What you'll do

• Design and build core services : data ingestion, normalization, matching, and real-time scoring.
• Create clean, well-documented APIs used by US fintechs and enterprise data teams.
• Own end-to-end features from product discovery and architecture to testing, observability, and deployment.
• Stand up a reliable data stack (streaming + batch), with strong SLAs and cost awareness.
• Set engineering standards (code quality, security, CI / CD, on-call) and influence the product roadmap.
• Work directly with customers to validate use cases and iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Help hire and mentor the next wave of engineers; grow into a VP / CTO track as we scale.
