Location : Trimurti Nagar, Nagpur, Maharashtra

Reports To : CEO

About the Role :

  • We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Business Head – Insurance to lead, scale, and build our insurance vertical from the ground up. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, industry expertise, and a proven track record in sales, customer handling, and team building within the insurance domain- especially Auto Insurance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • P&L Management & Strategy : Fully own the insurance vertical's P&L , ensuring end-to-end business delivery and achieving aggressive revenue targets. Build the entire vertical from scratch, including processes, teams, and performance systems.
  • Team Building & Management : Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing sales, customer support, and operations team. Build a performance-driven culture with clear metrics and accountability. Enable teams with scripts, training, and tools to improve closing ratios.
  • Customer Handling & Experience (CX) : Oversee customer lifecycle management from lead generation to policy issuance and renewal. Ensure high customer satisfaction through prompt and effective service delivery, resolving escalations and continuously improving CX processes.
  • Growth & Process Optimization : Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns for Auto Insurance and other products. Optimize sales funnels, calling processes, and CRM workflows. Analyze performance metrics and market trends to refine strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership : Identify new business opportunities and align internal teams (Marketing, Tech, Operations) to implement growth strategies and ensure consistent revenue expansion.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Experience : Minimum 8+ years of experience in the insurance industry , with a strong preference for expertise in Auto Insurance .
  • Track Record (Mandatory) : Must have proven experience in building teams and business functions from scratch . A track record of driving high-volume insurance sales (10,000+ policies / month) is essential.
  • Skills : Strong background and proven success in sales, marketing, upselling, and customer management . Ability to manage large-scale operations with high monthly volumes.
  • Leadership : Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to build a performance-driven culture.
  • Industry Fit : Strong network within the insurance ecosystem (brokers, partners, OEMs, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Working Hours :

  • Monday to Saturday  - 10AM to 7PM
