USA Tax Manager

Job Summary : The US Tax Manager based out of India will be responsible for ensuring that all tax returns are prepared accurately and submitted on time, while providing strategic advice to minimize tax liabilities. This role requires the ability to handle work independently with minimal supervision, maintain a high level of confidentiality, and adhere to the company’s privacy guidelines. The position also involves coordination with US counterparts, which may require availability during US working hours.Key Responsibilities : Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns (corporate, partnership, individual)Ensure compliance with all US tax laws and regulationsManage tax planning and strategy to reduce liabilitiesSupervise, mentor, and guide junior tax staff or accountantsHandle communications and audits with US tax authoritiesMaintain accurate tax records and documentationStay current on US tax legislation and regulatory changesWork independently with minimal supervision, ensuring timely completion of tasksMaintain strict confidentiality and comply with company data privacy policiesBe available to communicate and collaborate effectively with US counterparts during US business hoursQualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or EA preferred5+ years of US tax experienceStrong working knowledge of US tax codes and regulationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities concurrentlyAbility to communicate effectively with Customer directly and resolve any queriesHire, manage and train a team of CPAs in IndiaProven track record of maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive informationWillingness to adjust working hours to align with US team schedulesLocation : Vadodara - Remote Full timeCompensation : Commensurate with work experience and Industry Standards
