Business Analyst – LOANIQ + SQL Scripting | Bangalore (Hybrid) | 5+ Years

Location : Bangalore

Work Model : Hybrid (3 days / week from office)

Experience Required : 5+ years

Notice Period : Immediate to 21 days

Client : US-based Global Banking Institution

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Business Analyst with strong LOANIQ hands-on expertise and SQL scripting skills for a long-term engagement with a global banking client. This is an individual contributor (IC) role that requires strong techno-functional skills, requirement gathering, and stakeholder collaboration in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a techno-functional BA with hands-on LoanIQ experience
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRDs, user stories)
  • Write and validate SQL scripts for data extraction, validation, and analysis
  • Interpret and work with complex data models for LoanIQ projects
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, BI / ETL teams, and stakeholders across SDLC
  • Drive Agile ceremonies and ensure business alignment on requirements
  • Contribute to solution design with a strong focus on BFSI compliance

Must-Have Skills

  • LOANIQ (Loan IQ) : Hands-on experience with configuration, workflows, and product features
  • SQL scripting : Proficiency in queries, joins, data validation, and profiling
  • Data model interpretation : Ability to understand and work with relational schemas
  • BRD / Story writing : Strong documentation and requirement gathering skills
  • Agile methodology : Sprint planning, backlog grooming, and collaboration with stakeholders

    • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Data profiling and reporting exposure
  • Collaboration with BI / ETL teams for data pipelines
  • Experience with JIRA / Confluence for Agile tracking
  • Familiarity with Git / DevOps tools for versioning and delivery
  • BFSI / Banking compliance awareness (regulatory / reporting projects)
