Description :
Lead SD module design, configuration, and deployment activities. Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP SD solutions. Support integration with other SAP modules like MM, PP, and FI / CO.
Manage issue resolution and enhancements to improve SD processes. Provide training and guidance to end-users and junior team members. Ensure system compliance with company standards and best practices. Act as the primary point of contact for SD-related queries and escalations.
Key Responsibilities :
Requirement Gathering and Analysis :
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to the Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
- Identify gaps and propose suitable SAP solutions.
Configuration and Customization :
Configure SAP SD module settings to meet business requirements.Customize SD functionalities, including pricing, billing, shipping, and sales order management.Integration Support :
Ensure seamless integration of SD processes with other SAP modules such as MM, FI / CO, and PP.Address integration issues and implement solutions effectively.Project Management and Leadership :
Lead SD-specific workstreams in SAP projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including consultants and developers.Testing and Quality Assurance :
Design and execute test scenarios for SD functionalities, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.Ensure high-quality deliverables by adhering to testing standards.Support and Maintenance :
Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents.Monitor system performance and propose enhancements.Documentation :
Prepare functional specifications, user manuals, and training documentation.Maintain up-to-date documentation for configurations and changes.Training and Knowledge Sharing :
Conduct training sessions for end-users and team members on SAP SD processes.Mentor junior consultants and team members.Key Performance Indicators :
Project Delivery :
Percentage of SD module deliverables completed on time and within budget.Number of successful SAP SD implementations or enhancements.Incident Resolution :
