ETL & Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled

ETL & Automation Test Engineer

with strong hands-on experience in testing data-intensive applications and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ETL testing, SQL, and API / UI automation with exposure to cloud and database technologies.

Experience : Minimum 6+ Years

Location : Pune / Chennai

Employment Type : Full-Time

Client : Infosys

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and execute test cases for ETL processes and data pipelines.

Analyze complex

Stored Procedures , data models, and workflows to derive test scenarios.

Perform data validation across multiple data sources including

SQL Server, Snowflake, and MongoDB .

Write advanced SQL queries and shell commands to validate data consistency and transformations.

Execute

API and UI automation

using Java-based frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an

Agile / Scrum

environment.

Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvements.

Must Have Skills :

6+ years of IT experience with strong focus on

ETL Testing

and

SQL .

Expertise in

Stored Procedure analysis

and data validation.

Hands-on experience with

Snowflake

and

SQL Management Studio .

Working knowledge of

MongoDB

– ability to query using shell commands.

Proficiency in

API / UI Automation

using

Java .

Good to Have : Experience in

AWS , including

running DAG and Glue jobs .

Exposure to

AWS test automation frameworks .

Knowledge of

Financial / Investment Banking

domain.

Other Skills :

Strong understanding of

Agile / Scrum

methodologies.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and work independently.

Awareness of emerging tools and technologies in testing and data platforms.
